Controls aren't like traditional though i dont think. (hadouken isn't Down DownForward Forward Punch, it's more along the lines of Forward Downforward Forward. It's weird O_O)

If you're playing on an emulator then the pokemon games are pretty fun when you speed it up. The megaman zero games are really fun. I can't wait for the zero collection to come out. If you're a fan of megaman then definitely try megaman battle network 3. Battle network 2 and 6 are good too. The golden sun games are probably the best games on the gba. Both of them are wicked.
My list if you didn't feel like reading through that.

- Any megaman zero game

I don't know what the Gunstar game is, but some of the best Game Boy Advance games in my opinion are Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island, and Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land.
